Heron Ridge

When Fred Couples and Gene Bates undertook the design of Heron Ridge Golf Club, they had no idea that their project was going to entertain so many. Heron Ridge Golf Club opened in the spring of 1999 and has developed into one of the finest, best kept & friendliest golf facilities in all of Hampton Roads and we invite you out to find out for yourself! Heron Ridge, which features 14 holes with lakes, water hazards or natural wetlands wind around a unique setting of tall Oak, Beech & Elm Trees. The Wetlands Natural Depressions and uncommon Elevation changes, topography that is not typically found in this geographical area. All of these elements lead to a unique feel on each and every hole and provides a more memorable experience for those that take on the challenge. The Signature at West Neck

The Signature at West Neck, an Arnold Palmer Signature design, offers a beautiful and challenging championship golf course, memberships, golf outings and a 24,000 square foot clubhouse with a covered veranda and terrace with views of the golf course. The First Tee of Hampton Roads

The First Tee of Hampton Roads is a youth development golf program. We are a chapter of the National Organization of The First Tee and program of the YMCA. Our main location is our 55-acre facility in Va. Beach, including a nine-hole walking course, driving range, putting green, practice area and Learning Center/ Clubhouse.

Virginia Beach National Golf Club

Virginia Beach National opened in May of 1999 as the premier public golf course in the Tidewater Area. A Pete Dye Design with assistance from PGA Tour Hall of Famer Curtis Strange, VB National is a masterful blend of natural grasses, waste areas, rolling fairways and "tour quality" greens. The course has challenged some of the best players in the world in past years as host of the NATIONWIDE TOUR's Virginia Beach Open. This Par 72 course stretches to well over 7200 yards from the Championship markers, however, five sets of tees offer players of all abilities the opportunity to play within your "comfort zone." Honey Bee Golf Course

Set in the heart of Virginia Beach, Honey Bee Golf Course is simply one of the most popular daily fee golfing venues in Virginia Beach. The Rees Jones-designed golf course features water on ten holes and intricate bunkering throughout the property. The terrific natural turf practice facility can accommodate dozens of golfers at once, so the course is a super choice for tournaments and corporate outings. Honey Bee is located just half a mile or so from its sister club, Stumpy Lake Golf Course, so vacationing golfers often find both courses a good choice for all-day play. The presence of pool and tennis facilities give Honey Bee a country club feel but in a public venue.

Stumpy Lake Golf Course

Stumpy Lake Golf Course offers a truly unique golf experience! Designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones, the course stretches through the natural wonders of a 1400 acre nature preserve and is completely absent of any signs of commercialization or residential development. Sightings of deer, fox, eagles, and ospreys are common, and from time to time it is even possible to enjoy a bear sighting. Stumpy Lake now features a new clubhouse, a canoe and kayak launch, a nature trail, and a fishing pier on the east end of the lake. With its location just moments from I-64, the course enjoys strong participation from golfers across the region, and it is close enough to its sister club, Honey Bee, to accommodate golfers interested in playing 36 holes in one day.

Red Wing Lake

This classic golf course designed by George W. Cobb is even better! The course was closed for renovations and is now open for your enjoyment. All greens were rebuilt, shaped and seeded with Bent grass. Each fairway was reworked to improve drainage and enhance character; they remain within corridors of mature loblolly pines. New wetland areas and lakes provide beauty and additional challenges. Multiple tees provide golfers of all skill levels and opportunity to match their ability and ego to a teeing location. The course measures longer from the tips with improved playability from the forward tee locations.

Owl's Creek Golf Center

18 holes over 3,793 yards with a par of 62 (Public) Site of the Hampton Roads Golf Academy, Owl's Creek Golf Course is located just moments from the heart of the Virginia Beach oceanfront and resort area. Dramatic elevation changes, natural woodlands, and sparkling lakes give the course a unique silvan feel, but the frequent fly-bys of Navy F-18 Hornets remind golfers they are just a half mile or so from Oceana Naval Air Station! Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club

The Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club is tucked away in one of Virginia Beach`s most picturesque neighborhoods, nestled among 100-year-old pines and offering spectacular views of Linkhorn Bay. Established in 1928, this grande dame today is a tapestry of historic charm and modern amenities. Now lovingly restored, the Club gracefully blends tranquility, recreation and the perfect venue for social gatherings. Our golf course is one of the region`s most visually pleasing. With two finishing holes on the Linkhorn Bay, our recently renovated par-69, 18 hole gem has proven to challenge players of all skill levels. The Cavalier has been host to many famous golfers - Mickey Wright, Betsy Rawls, Louise Suggs, Patty Berg, Kathy Whitworth, Beverly Hanson and Marilyn Smith have joined an illustrious group of men such as Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead, Marty and Ed Furgol, Julious Boros, Tommy Bolt and Jack Nicklaus as the Cavalier has been the site of a number of LPGA, PGA, VSGA and Mid-Atlantic tournaments through the years including the Virginia Beach Open played here during the 1950s. The infamous Walter Hagen was actually the Club`s honorary Chairman and touring Pro in those years. Another chapter of interest came during the Second World War when an anti-aircraft battery was set up near the 15th fairway and the Clubhouse opened up for the recreation of officers stationed in the area.

Princess Anne Country Club

The totally renovated Princess Anne golf course reopened on May 17, 2008. Long considered to be one of the region's most beautiful and challenging par 70 tracts, the new course was designed by Pete Dye protègè, Tim Liddy, to be a superb fusion of art and strategy for the novice and seasoned player. The 6,042-yard course meanders through scenic neighborhoods lined by lush pines and crosses several inlets and lakes. It embraces the land's natural features and enfolds greens and bunkers that were meticulously shaped by hand. Other amenities available for the golf enthusiast include a practice range, several putting greens and a short game practice area for the days when playing 18 holes cannot be planned into a busy schedule. Broad Bay Country Club

Established in 1986, Broad Bay Country Club is the centerpiece of the gorgeous Broad Bay Point Greens neighborhood. The 18-hole, par-70 championship course was designed by world-renowned architects, Edmund Ault and Tom Clark. The traditional layout features rolling fairways with strategically placed bunkers dotting the course.
